I have created a small gallery with some Bridal photos taken in my studio. I have already posted images of the same photo shoot in the past, but they were more “classic” images, the new ones are more artistic and mostly black and white. They are technically quite easy to shoot, the flash setup is simple, it’s really up to the Brides to give mood to the final image, and i have to say that they did a great job in front of the camera, very comfortable  and easy to direct.

She is Hana Bella, we had a Photo Shoot a while ago at my studio where we had the chance to try different light setup and different outfit. It was really nice to work with her,  she is really confident and experienced  in front of the camera so was easy to direct her.  I would like to thanks Mai for the great Make Up and Hair Style she did on her.

Today I only post very few of the pictures taken that day because i haven’t finished to process all of them yet, you can find those images in this Gallery.

Today I post few new portrait pictures, I’m quite busy with many Weddings and Fashion Shoot at this time of the year but I will try to upload some new pictures meanwhile I’m working on them.

She is Julie, really nice to work with her, very confident in front of the camera and very easy to direct.

I have used a standard lighting for the pictures in this Gallery, nothing complicated, just some flashes and some reflectors to keep the light not too aggressive.

Few more pictures of one of PhotoShoot i did a while ago. She is Phoebe, was really nice to work with her, very confident  in front of the camera. I just used a standard lighting for most of the pictures as we agreed before starting the shoot.

I’m quite busy at the moment, i have many Wedding and Fashion PhotoShoot to work on so i don’t have a lot of time to upload all the pictures i would like to show here on my blog, but i will update this page and i will add new gallery meanwhile i post process all the final pictures for the clients.

I was hired by Semon Cashmere for getting pictures at a Fashion Show in a London club where they were showing their new collection.

The catwalk was running in the middle of the busy club dance floor and was quite challenging to get pictures in that conditions, with many people around the models and low lighting, but I have quite a lot of photographic  experience on very low light and busy environment so I managed to get all the shoots I wanted to, I relay on my camera autofocus even in poor light condition, so I was setting it to track the subject movement and it did quite a good job, than I was setting the camera in manual exposure mode and the flash set to TTL, often dialled +1 stop or -1 stop depending on the model outfit.

I’m quite happy with the final result and in this gallery you can find few of the pictures taken during the catwalk .

Few weeks ago I had a photo shoot with Misha, a young and experienced Canadian model living in London.It was easy to work with her as she have more than five years of modelling and attending fashion and television show.She instructed the Make up artist on her final look and asked me to take some “simple” portrait trying to make the make-up show as much as possible. To do this I was using a quite safe lighting scheme, two soft boxes at the front, one key on the left and one fill at the right, an other flash used as back light and another one for the background with the use of a gel for the first part of the session to make it light blue.

She enjoyed the result and I enjoyed to work with her, she is very capable to stand in front of the camera and to take some directions during the session.

During Anna’s Photo session we took the last 30 min to shoot some easy glamour photos. For the above picture I just used only one flash placed on the top left corner of the room, behind the model, almost at ground level;  for the last two pictures of the gallery I just used natural light coming from a big window on the right of the model.

While for the pictures above the intent was to create a kind of artistic glamour, for the last two images I chose to leave everything as it was, very natural and easy.

I just applied a bit of post processing to the pictures, just added contrast and some sharpening.

During Anna’s Photo Shoot we also took some artistic nude pictures, well, there isn’t really any explicit nudity  in this photos gallery as we decided to don’t make the images too much “aggressive”. Had to bee something simple, using the sun as main light and a flash on the white wall background and adding a bit of high key look to some pictures.
