Hanoi Ethnic Museum
Posted in Cities on April 28th, 2011 by Giorgio GuglielminoThe Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is a museum in Hanoi, Vietnam, which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. It is located about 8 km from the city center.
It is considered to be the finest modern museum in Vietnam and a tourist attraction in Hanoi.
The Museum is divided into two parts: an indoor and an outdoor exhibition. The indoor part is composed of the exhibition building, office, research center, library, auditorium. The outdoor exhibition is to highlight different types of houses in all parts of Vietnam.
I strongly recommended the visit of this museum, it’s a unique experience and a great opportunity to have a better understanding of Vietnam history, culture and people.
In this gallery there are some of the pictures i took during my visit at the Hanoi Ethnology museum
