Just after the location photo shoot outside the studio we kept on getting pictures inside where Sammy and the others models changed outfits. I was quite surprised about Katharina, she was really transforming  into a different person and she also confirmed to me that she is  a really good actress.

We were short of time when i was shooting those pictures, so i kept the light setup very simple and easy. There was one big SoftBox in front of a 1000W flash about 45 degree on the left and there was an other smaller Soft Box about 45 degree on the right, the ration between the two flashes was almost all the time 1:1 for this  short series of pictures. There was an other flash lighting the background that was set about 1 stop more than the key light flash.

Aaron, Crystal and Sammy were working together that day and they really had fun doing it.

As I said before,  taking this photos was  a bit challenging due to the very variable weather condition, sun and clouds made me change my camera metering and exposure setting every 3 – 4 minutes and sometimes was not possible to reach the level of contrast i was looking for, but at the end we manage to get some good shoots.

Sammy was helping Crystal with some heavy duty job outside the studio so i got some pictures while she was working.

I was using the same camera profiles i used for Crystal and the only tool i was using to fill the shadows was the same small silver/gold reflector. Due to the very variable weather condition, was not always  easy to get the right exposure for the highlights or the shadows and was not easy to give to the picture the right contrast but at the end i was quite happy with the result.

Sammy, as you can see is a young model but she have a lot of modelling experience.

The same day of Aaron and Katharina photo shoot, there were others two models i got pictures for, one of them is Crystal, a really professional and pleasant model.

We started to get some pictures just outside the studio that is located in the middle of a small industrial area.

I had not a location flash lighting system to work with that day as was unexpected to get pictures outside the studio (well, never been to that studio before), so the best i was able to do was to use a small silver/gold reflector to light up shadow area. It was a cloudy day, with some sun spot, so i had to change the camera  exposure quite many times during that photo session. Sometimes the light was very flat, others time the sun was hitting the model directly, creating very hard shadows,  so the little reflector was very useful at the end of the day even if whit a flash to use as fill light would be more easy to archive the right lightening.

I was loading into my camera some custom made profiles in order to give to the images a bit of mood, a bit of post processing made the final image.
